Gamma Waves = In the Zone

Gamma Waves = In the Zone

Gamma Waves = in the Zone is my last post in this series about brain waves.  I’ve been covering all the different brain waves with these posts because to understand hypnosis better, we can look to brain wave activity.  The differences in their frequency and uses helps me create the best hypnotic plan for your personal goals.

   Gamma Waves are Super Interesting.

They are the new kid on the block as they were only discovered when digital EEG’s came into use.   But they do such cool stuff for us that I think I am the most interested in this brain wave over all of them.   People with high rates of Gamma Waves are serene and peaceful.

Have you ever seen anyone who is doing what they really love?  They are so happy and in that moment of joy; that’s when the Gamma Waves are flowing.

   In the Zone

Athletes describe this moment as “Being in the Zone”.  We can all feel it.  That happiness of doing what you love in the place you love doing it.

We all have the ability to be in our Zone.  And the more that you are in the Zone, the easier it is to access it when you want it.   It becomes familiar and available.

Now, you’ve probably known people who feel depressed.   They are definitely not in the Zone or at peace with themselves.   Studies show that depressed persons have very few Gamma Waves.  That’s why Gamma Waves are sometimes called Nature’s Anti-Depressant.

   Gammas and Feeling Good

Think about it.   When you are feeling good is when you are happy with your world.   Maybe you feel like this when you’re on the water or playing with your kids.   You might feel this way when you work on old cars or create a painting   I feel like this when I help someone with hypnosis.   I’m happier now than I have ever been.

I’m lovin’ all these Gamma Waves!  One thing that I think is really interesting is that artist’s get a storm of Gamma Waves right before they have a creative breakthrough.  You’ve probably felt that, too.   It’s the brainstorm you had right when you were looking for new ideas.   Sometimes that brainstorming gets really creative when in a group.

A setting where you can bounce ideas of one another is great.   Another group that creates storms of Gamma Waves is professional athletes.  Studies show athletes at a high level produce large amounts of Gamma Waves when they are just about to perform great feats in their field.   Right before they slip into the Zone.  So, now you know why Gamma Waves are so important to your happiness.

Find that Thing that You Love

They are present the more you achieve what you want.   That doesn’t mean you have to be rich to get Gamma Happiness.   You don’t have to find the highest paying job.   You don’t have to be the “proper” weight or wear the “proper” clothes.  You just have to spend time doing something you love.

Listen to the music you love, spend time with people you love and spend time with yourself.   Yes, with yourself!   Meditation and self-hypnosis are both activities that increase your Gamma Waves production. You can up your game by doing one or both of those.   It’s as easy as putting on a pair of headphones and allowing the relaxation and visualization.

Compassion is Tied to Gamma Waves

When monks, who spent time meditating daily, were asked to think about compassion, they automatically began producing Gamma Waves.   Compassion is tied into Gamma Wave production.  Maybe Gamma Waves are what tie us all together and create happy enjoyment of one’s life.

I know hypnosis used regularly does that.   Tell me what activities you are passionate about in the comments.  And think about how you can spend more time doing those things.

   In Conclusion:

Today I told you about Gamma Waves and how they make you feel peaceful and serene.  I explained about how we can all be in the Zone doing what we love.  Then, I said that artist’s and athletes have storms of Gamma Waves right before they perform at the top of their game.  And because of that, I told you that the way to get more Gamma into your life is to meditate or spend time in hypnosis, frequently.

Now, it’s time for you to take action!  Get more Gamma in your life.  You can enjoy hypnosis, self-hypnosis, meditation, yoga, listening to your music or just doing the thing you love!
