IS BRANDING RIGHT FOR ME?

IS BRANDING RIGHT FOR ME_

I used to think that Branding was for giant businesses like Apple and Verizon.  I thought I could be more artistic and have a lot of variety. My clients would love that, right?

But when I started re-building my website from scratch, I noticed that the places I liked best, were consistent in their chosen color pallet and wording and design.

And you won’t believe what happened when I applied that to my own website.

IS BRANDING COLORS AND A LOGO?

Now you’ll hear many teachers of marketing, talk about branding your website and blog.  But I imagined that this was using certain colors and a logo.

Well,  that’s part of it but I learned there was more to it than that.   I like variety but as I studied my own searching and following habits, I saw that I felt more comfortable, even safe, when I recognized the branding from my favorite websites.

I asked around about my friend’s habits.  And they were doing THE SAME.

So, I decided to jump on the branding bandwagon.

I DON’T SEEM TO BE GETTING ANYWHERE

Have you been struggling to get noticed on social media sites like Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook?

Does it seem like you’re putting out your best work and it hardly gets noticed?

Are you looking at other bloggers and wondering what in the world gets them noticed?

I’ll bet your bog posts and images are as good or better than theirs.

I bet you look at some viral videos and shake your head at how they could ever get noticed so much.

It comes down to branding and planning.

You have to put yourself out there and that means getting noticed.

If getting noticed is sending you to hide out in your closet, then maybe business isn’t the right place for you.

But if you’re ready to attract clients to your products and services, it might be time for you to use consistent branding.

Branding does include a color palette. And it doesn’t mean consistent letter fonts.  But there’s more to it than that.
