    I notice that I touch my hair a lot.  Do you do that, too?  I see men and women do it.  
    I have a friend who punctuates most of her speaking by touching her hair.  It’s an anchor or switch that we’ve taught ourselves.  
   Any kind of physical movement you make, can turn into a switch to calm you.  In this post and video,  I will show you how to install this switch.

You can take a positive feeling and create a switch to turn that feeling on any time you want.  Here you will take a feeling of calm and relaxation and attach it to the switch of smoothing your hair.

 Here’s how you do it:

   Step #1   Remember a time when you felt completely calm and relaxed. Let that feeling run as strongly as possible through your physical body.

   Step #2   When that feeling is at its peak, smooth your hair in a way that feels natural for you.

   Step #3  Now, whenever you feel anxiety, smooth your hair in the same way and it will bring that calm and relaxation to your whole body.
